1 Hard Kore Baffle, 1 Allen Key,
1 Allen Screw, 1 Nut, 1 Set Screw
INSTALLATION TIP :
Use Loctite on all screws.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Remove original baffle from exhaust pipe by removing allen screw with allen key supplied.
2. Drill a hole 5/16” from the end of the original baffle as shown above.
3. Insert Smartpartz Hard Kore Quiet Baffle until it is flush with the end of the original baffle and hole in rim of Smartpartz Hard Kore Quiet Baffle is over the hole you drilled. Fasten with allen screw and acorn cap nut supplied.
4. Tighten set screw against other side of original baffle (do not overtighten – a snug fit is all that is required).
5. Reinsert original baffle with Smartpartz Hard Kore Quiet Baffle assembly into pipe.
NOTE : As with all motor modifications, some rejetting may be required. The baffles may create a slightly rich condition in some circumstances. Generally, leaning up the fuel/air mixture screw slightly is all that is required.
