CONTENTS :

2 Hard Kore Quiet Baffles, 1 Allen Key,

2 Screws, 1 Drill Bit.

IMPORTANT :

Use Loctite on all screws.

INSTALLATION:

1. Mark bottom of original baffle with a marker pen so you know where the bottom of the baffle is when you’ve removed it.

2. Remove original baffle with allen key supplied.

3. Drill ½” hole in bottom of original baffle on cone part .4” from end as shown.

4. Drill ¼” hole through straight wall of original baffle with drill bit supplied as shown.

5. Remove excess weld from inside of original baffle so the tabs of the Smartpartz Hard Kore Quiet Baffle will slide inside original baffle (you may need to crimp tabs a little to allow them to enter opening).

6. Insert Smartpartz Hard Kore Quiet Baffle into opening and align threaded tab with the hole you drilled. (The second tab is used on another application and is not used to secure the baffle in this application.)

7. Apply loctite to screw and tighten.

8. Reinstall assembly in muffler body.

NOTE : As with all motor modifications, some rejetting may be required. The baffles may create a slightly rich condition in some circumstances.
